The survival instinct is doubtless the strongest in nature. Creatures considered dim-witted, like fruit-flies, whose entire lifespan may be only a few days anyway, routinely flee with remarkably violent dispatch, performing Olympic feats of acrobatics if necessary, whenever they sense arriving danger – often repeatedly. Immobile plants, in addition to animals, evolve protections employing genius camouflage and subterfuge to overcome perceived doom.

Human survivalists – it’s in their very name (they aren’t, after all, called “protectionists”, are they?) arm themselves to the last hairline against threats anticipated, foreign and domestic. Their counterparts on the collective level, meanwhile, national security freaks, claim to perceive a permanent standoff against “the other”, whoever that concept might embrace at the time – and are insistent upon squandering their life savings and retirement, and everyone else’s, on stealth campaigns, preemptive attacks, erecting protective blockades and bases everywhere including in space, and subversively undermining everyone, everywhere around the world who dares move or manifests a potentially hostile manner or expression of face, regardless what distance away. “You can’t have a bomb,” they decree, “because, who knows? You might use it.” “You can’t even move to defend yourself, because that makes you hostile in intent to prevent our intent in invading you – same with the bomb, by the way, you can’t have that – which makes you evil and our enemy.” It gets to be ridiculous.

“Look, we’re going to run things in your country and emasculate you and kill you if we want, for your and everyone’s good, so don’t try and stop us.” “And just who, you ask, are we? We’re the force of order and eternal peace. We represent the global one percent of one percent, and we have different strokes to impose for different folks. So, give up now and give in.”

Most Americans and their cousins in Europe, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, countries such as that, have acquiesced to the incremental growth in lethal prowess of the great killing force, in fact representing them, but only in name, not their aspirations, so long as the victims were the endless estimated 60 million indecipherable foreigners liquidated in attacks and interventions in all four or seventy-nine corners since 1945. Then, there was (is?) aids in Africa and beyond, deadly there. Sudden onset. Who or what caused that?

And if political bungling, ineptness, inattention, or lack of interest, and unnecessary butchering in the womb, led to the “needless loss” of a few or cumulatively many million minority citizens of their own countries, that was tolerated or justified, too, if only because we, the people, had no ready answer. And then, of course, because it still wasn’t us exactly.

Our protections from mounting eco-atrocities permitted and/or industrial genocide and the steady diminution of our economic security, the dumbing strangulation of our education, trap-door-like removal of habeas corpus and our naïve expectation of justice, belief in the substantial objectivity of news, have only brought sighs and head-shaking behaviors among us, at least until recently. Because, why? “I’m just one person – what’s a body to do?”

And so then, what happens to us, for instance, if the grid goes down? And stays down? There are plans for the top élite, not for us. If the money fails? Ditto.

The overall ideology of the United States (imposed), pressed murderously or with deceptions, bribes, demands unrelenting, is globalism, globalization, with the big brain at the helm ensconced in New York/Washington and Kensington, London. And the basis of the program run nonstop – as so many have at last caught on – is nothing but a convoluted tissue of twisted lies. Which is what Trump, who never completes a thought and scarce a sentence, needs to say and say again, and again, and yet again, and again, until it gets him elected.

The guns of the survivalists can’t triumph against the vast, stockpiled armament of WMD, laser cannons, deadly and ingrained calumny. Nor will the stern threat of leaning in mass into pitchforks that forever uniquely saved from collectivization the fields of Poland. But acquiescence is running thinner now, and the highly-concentrated will of the masses of humanity exploding and igniting around the world, not relenting, making its own life from scratch, possibly might.

Report: Syrian Govt Has Audio Of U.S. Conversation With ISIS Before Attack On Syrian Military

TOPICS:Brandon TurbevilleISISMilitarySyria.

September 26, 2016

isis_constitutionBy Brandon Turbeville

According to a report from Russian news agency, Sputnik, Syrian intelligence possesses an audio recording of a conversation that took place between the United States military and ISIS fighters shortly before the U.S. airstrikes on Syrian government positions in Deir el-Zour.

Likewise, the speaker of the People’s Council of Syria stated as much on Monday.

“The Syrian Army intercepted a conversation between the Americans and Daesh before the air raid on Deir ez-Zor,” said Hadiya Khalaf Abbas as quoted by Al Mayadeen.

. These statements appear to suggest that the conversation recorded by the Syrian government will definitively show coordination between the U.S. and ISIS against the Syrian military.

Indeed, during her visit to Iran, the head of the Syrian Parliament stated that, after the coalition airstrikes on Syrian government troops, the U.S. military directed the ISIS attack on the Syrian army that saw the terrorist organization temporarily gain territory surrounding Deir el-Zour.

If the claims of the Syrian officials quoted above are true, then we strongly encourage Syria to release the audio recordings for the world to hear.

That the United States has been responsible for the creation, support, direction, arming, and facilitation of ISIS has long been known in informed circles. However, an audio recording of cooperation between the U.S. and ISIS would effectively drive the last nail in the coffin of American credibility and any remaining semblance of honesty and logic in is “war on terror” that is, in reality, nothing but a “war of terror” against the world’s people.

If there was ever any doubt that the United States was supporting and protecting the most feared terrorist organization in the world, that doubt is now erased as a result of the U.S. strike on Syrian military forces in Deir al-Zour on September 17.

The attack took place as a battle between the Syrian military and ISIS forces was raging in Deir al-Zour when the United States swooped in with air strikes against Syrian military forces killing “dozens” of Syrian soldiers, allowing ISIS to advance. Some outlets put the death toll as high as 80 while others suggest 62 soldiers were killed.

The United States claims that it did not knowingly strike the Syrian military and that it confused the SAA with ISIS fighters. However, illegal violations of Syrian national sovereignty aside, claims that the United States could not decipher SAA forces from ISIS forces is hardly plausible since the former is easily identified by the fact that it is in battle with the latter.

The U.S. bombing all but ended the fragile “ceasefire” plan (terrorists never once abided by any obligation of the agreement) and prompted a war of words between Russian and American diplomats as well as an emergency United Nations Security Council Meeting.

Clinton And Trump, Call Your Office: America’s Bipartisan Policy Of Perpetual War Has Failed To Deliver Peace
09/24/2016 02:29 pm ET

Doug Bandow
Contributing writer, policy analyst

The last three administrations have followed a bipartisan policy of constant war. Unfortunately, the consequences have been ugly: every intervention has laid the groundwork for more conflict.

Yet the architects of this failure claim that all would be well if only Washington had acted more often and more decisively. In their view, the problem is not that America goes to war, but that it doesn’t go to war nearly enough.

This approach is based on the belief that Washington is capable of solving every international problem. If only unnamed bright people implemented theoretically brilliant strategies backed by unidentified resolute citizens, terrorism would be suppressed, ISIS would be defeated, Russia would be compliant, Iraq would be successful, Syria would be peaceful, Libya would be united, and China would be respectful.

Alas, our experience suggests that such people and policies don’t exist. Otherwise, why would recent military operations have turned out so badly? If the right conditions for success weren’t present in the last 15 years, why should we expect them to occur in the next 15 years?

The biggest problem is the belief in immaculate intervention. More troops should have stayed longer, more bombs should have been dropped, and more no fly zones should have been established. Advocates rarely bother to explain the practical requirements and consequences of those policies.

For instance, no intervention is more universally criticized by serious foreign policy analysts than the Iraq invasion. That war triggered widespread sectarian conflict, caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, wrecked the historic Christian community, spawned al-Qaeda in Iraq which morphed into ISIS, and empowered Iran.

The official Neoconservative line, however, is that the war was a great success won by President George W. Bush. Victory was squandered by President Barack Obama, who withdrew U.S. forces.

Yet Bush, with troop levels at their highest providing maximum leverage, was unable to win Iraqi consent to a status of forces agreement, essential for any U.S. garrison. Had Washington attempted to force Baghdad to accept continued occupation, U.S. troops would have been targeted by Shia extremists as well as Sunni terrorists.

The only way America could have blocked the rise of ISIS and ousted Iraq’s sectarian regime would have been to intervene militarily, with potentially disastrous consequences. There was no domestic support for such a course after the Bush administration’s earlier failed promises and unrealistic predictions.

The U.S. should stop attempting to micro-manage the globe.
Intervention in Libya, it is said, would have worked if only the West had intervened to nation build. Yet people the world over want to rule themselves. Having overthrown the Khadafy government, victorious Libyan forces wouldn’t have welcomed a U.S. occupation force. There is no reason to believe the results of such an effort would have been any better than in Afghanistan or Iraq.

In Syria, contend committed interventionists, America should have acted against Bashar al-Assad. He would have been overthrown, the Syrian Thomas Jefferson and George Washington would have taken charge, and ISIS would never have emerged. It’s a great story, but overlooks the rise of sectarianism after America overthrew Iraq’s secular dictator. Defenestrating Assad would have merely triggered the next stage of a bitter struggle for control.

Nor was there domestic U.S. support for greater involvement: opposition to air strikes was overwhelming when the administration tossed the issue to Congress. Belief that half-hearted involvement would have led to swift victory by so-called moderate insurgents ignored the latter’s consistently disappointing performance.

In Afghanistan a continued U.S. military presence is supposed to allow the Kabul government to create a stable, efficient, honest democracy in Central Asia. Yet the Afghan authorities are losing ground after 15 years despite support from tens of thousands of allied military personnel and expenditure of hundreds of billions of dollars. Keeping a few thousand combat personnel on station will only slow the collapse of a government known mostly for corruption and incompetence.

Another claim is that had the Obama administration enforced the president’s infamous “red line” on chemical weapons in Syria, Washington would have had the credibility to stop Russia from seizing Crimea and China from pushing its territorial claims in the Asia-Pacific. However, acting on a foolish promise for war is worse than sacrificing a bit of credibility. Anyway, every U.S. attempt to pressure nuclear-armed Moscow and Beijing forces them to demonstrate that they will not be intimidated by Washington.

America’s disastrous experience with promiscuous intervention cannot be salvaged by playing “what if” games. Doing more of the same only guarantees more of the same result. The U.S. should stop attempting to micro-manage the globe.

The United States Must Be the World’s Policeman
Only America has the material and moral greatness to stop the slide into chaos and foster peace.

By Anders Fogh Rasmussen

September 21, 2016 "Information Clearing House" - "WSJ" - Barely had I been seated before Vladimir Putin told me that NATO—the organization that I then headed—no longer had any purpose and should be disbanded. “After the end of the Cold War, we dissolved the Warsaw Pact,” he said. “Similarly, you should dissolve NATO. That is a relic from the Cold War.”

During my visit to Moscow in December 2009, I sensed that President Putin was challenging the world order that the U.S. created so successfully after World War II. Beginning in 2014, he invaded Ukraine and launched a military action in Syria.

From my former positions as prime minister of Denmark and secretary-general of NATO, I know how important American leadership is. We desperately need a U.S. president who is able and willing to lead the free world and counter autocrats like President Putin. A president who will lead from the front, not from behind.

The world needs such a policeman if freedom and prosperity are to prevail against the forces of oppression, and the only capable, reliable and desirable candidate for the position is the United States. The presidential elections thus come at a pivotal point in history.

The Middle East is torn by war. In North Africa, Libya has collapsed and become a breeding ground for terrorists. In Eastern Europe, a resurgent Russia has brutally attacked and grabbed land by force from Ukraine. China is flexing its muscles against its neighbors—and the rogue state of North Korea is threatening a nuclear attack.

In this world of interconnections, it has become a cliché to talk about the “global village.“ But right now, the village is burning, and the neighbors are fighting in the light of the flames. Just as we need a policeman to restore order; we need a firefighter to put out the flames of conflict, and a kind of mayor, smart and sensible, to lead the rebuilding.

Only America can play all these roles, because of all world powers, America alone has the credibility to shape sustainable solutions to these challenges. Russia is obsessed with rebuilding the empire the Soviet Union lost. China is still primarily a regional actor. Europe is weak, divided and leaderless. The old powers of Britain and France are simply too small and exhausted to play the global role they once did.

This is not simply about means. It is also about morality. Just as only America has the material greatness to stop the slide into chaos, only America has the moral greatness to do it—not for the sake of power, but for the sake of peace.

Yet the U.S. will only be able to shape the solutions the world needs if its leaders act with conviction. When America retrenches and retreats—if the world even thinks that American restraint reflects a lack of willingness to engage in preventing and resolving conflicts—it leaves a vacuum that will be filled by crooked autocrats across the world.

The Obama administration’s reluctance to lead the world has had serious consequences, and none is graver than the behavior of Mr. Putin. While Europe and the U.S. slept, he launched a ruthless military operation in support of the Assad regime in Syria and tried to present Russia as a global power challenging the U.S. in importance. In Europe, he is trying to carve out a sphere of influence and establish Russia as a regional power capable of diminishing American influence.

These are only a few examples of what is now at stake as autocrats, terrorists and rogue states challenge America’s leadership of the international rules-based order—which was created after World War II and which secured for the world an unprecedented period of peace, progress and prosperity.

The next president must acknowledge this inheritance. American isolationism will not make the U.S. and other freedom-loving countries safer and more prosperous, it will make them less so and unleash a plague of dictators and other oppressors. Above all, American isolationism will threaten the future of the rules-based international world order that has brought freedom and prosperity to so many people.

Mr. Rasmussen, a former prime minister of Denmark and a former secretary-general of NATO, is the author of “The Will to Lead—America’s Indispensable Role in the Global Fight For Freedom,” out this month from HarperCollins/Broadside Books.

Howard Johnson

But there it is in print.

Anders must be either a USA mule or smoking the crack pipe. In either case he is quite confused since the USA is indeed the world's petulant child longing for the days when his Mom said it was ok to bully people. Trump seems to have replaced Uncle Sam.

Another brainwashed idiot as leader. F*ck Nato.

'Only America has the material and moral greatness to stop the slide into chaos and foster peace.' 'It is also about morality. Just as only America has the material greatness to stop the slide into chaos, only America has the moral greatness to do it'
'The world needs such a policeman if freedom and prosperity are to prevail against the forces of oppression, and the only capable, reliable and desirable candidate for the position is the United States. '

This much utter crap in one speech ? Th man is crazed, insane or perhaps just bought.

He is a "foggy" cheer leader for the u.s.a. imperial leadership.

"American restraint . . . leaves a vacuum that will be filled by crooked autocrats across the world."

I have only to observe my landlady to see proof that Rasmussen is right.

I also like the line that says "autocrats, terrorists and rogue states challenge America’s leadership of the international rules-based order—which was created after World War II and which secured for the world an unprecedented period of peace, progress and prosperity."

Our Uncle Sam likes our system of "international rules-based order" so much that he uses every opportunity to trash the rules and punish those who invoke the rules.

I used to know a guy named Rasmussen when I was in the Marines. He, too, was full of poopoo. I wonder if the problem is genetic or is there some sort of school, somewhere, that only Rasmussens are privileged to attend? If there is or if there isn't such a school, I prefer CHEESE Danish. . . .

Let me see if I have this right. The USA destroyed the Middle East and only we are qualified to fix the problems. Its time to step outside the dialectic.

The REAL problem is when propagandists begin BELIEVING their own propaganda. Then, there is no pressure to evaluate and determine what is true, rather than what I want to "sell".

Rasmussen has to take responsibility for NATO's role in all of this. My suggestion: let Rassmussen turn himself in and stand trial, with the expectation of a conviction and long jail term- AND THEN, let the world's policeman turn itself in and stand trial.

That guy RAZZY needs to lie down and keep taking the tablets his doctor has proscribed, just might help him sound sane.

It's nice when a person of posittion writes something like this - It makes me feel good about myself.

This is why Pepe Escobar calls Anders Fogh Rasmussen "the Fogh of War."

Coordinator, 911 Truth Grassroots Coordinator

The prophets of economic doom are at it with renewed vigor, and it’s hard for one less-wise to know what to make of their prating. A global currency would, it is true, make abandoning the dollar to jump to something else for international payment more difficult. China is into the U.S. for multiple trillions in gold, it seems, and is once again riled and rife to call in its chits. The EU – the fragile mask hiding naked, enslaved Europe – is crumbling and bankers are livid. The U.S. debt is unsustainable in the short run, with the Chinese nipping and the public not cooperating, not digging deeper to sustain the rich and the tyrants’ killing reputedly vicious invisible nobodies a world away.

Brexit happened. Electorates throughout the west are unruly and rebelling. The Plan is unfolding but imposed slavery not guaranteed, not free. So, so very close to the end and stalled. What’s a self-respecting psychopathic (aka “libertine”) plutocracy to do? Pump up the paralyzing fear!

David Rockefeller’s 1991 Bilderberg meeting credo: “The supernational sovereignty of the intellectual elite and the world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in the past.” (To them, yes). That’s the goal, tantalizingly within reach.

And when the public – American and/or world – becomes angrier and more nauseated than fearful, we can shut it down and take over responsibility for ourselves and the planet.

So, what’s to fear?

1) Manifest (and nauseating) evil, mostly beneath the surface, rumored and occasionally exposed as élite child and adult sex-slave abduction and partying rings, for example, to fuel and contain the lusts of the sick sovereigns. The police and courts at all levels, Congress won’t touch any such. Instructively, it’s the same at the individual level as on the international.

2) Skulking murder of whistle-blowers and witnesses. Give thanks if you don’t have inside knowledge. I am. The police, all levels of bureaucracy, hence the people, won’t attest to knowing anything. The Boulder D.A. was so spooked he avoided meticulously any mention of the fact that the Jon Benet Ramsey grand jury had returned an indictment against élite family members. No one knew it until years later. Lock-jaw, in fact, set into that whole community.

3) Of the simple truth itself – any resort necessary to avoid that. People who do stand up are not embraced by those nearby, but shunned, seen as sanctimonious, somehow defective, other. Cute logics are devised on the spot to protect us and vicariously the world from these deranged outcasts. Join them or even faintly praise them and you’ll likely end up dead, rotting in a dark, damp cell or bunker, or worse, disowned.

4) Fear of war here. Succumb to the argument for keeping it over there – at whatever cost. When we have to deal with a bit of it, it’s a worldwide emergency.

But then, the élite perps are shown to have enough fears of their own:

a) That the public, resisting their proven appeals, will reject by vote their persuasion. There’s Brexit, warned against as a province of the backward and uncivil (and perhaps still subject to being sold out, as the Greek anti-austerity vote was). Their “golden girl”, guaranteeing them 100% open access, 24/7/365, might likewise be nixed, even axed. Meaning likely less accommodating élite control.

b) That the intermediate partners (France, Germany, and that lot) might not be ultimately intimidated and bamboozled enough, and reach around to a resumed accord with Russia.

c) That the unbeatable rivals (Russia, China) might not back down, and could call their bluff. The Great Gamble? “If you don’t surrender and fall into line, we thermo-nuke you. You know we’re just crazy enough.” Let’s all fear lest these biggies give up and fold right in with the NWO.

“By deception we shall make war,” is the perps’ borrowed battle cry. And our ever-fainter hope, accordingly, for global sanity and emancipation, as well Russia’s claim to prevailing rational courage representing every nation is the peaceful, embarrassed disposition we saw of Obama’s red line in Syria. Because, “MAD” means something else besides “Mutual Assured destruction” or “deception”. And Syria, where the U.S. just scuttled the Russians’ newly revealing cease-fire, and the quite suddenly infinitely more-dangerous Sarajevo of our day, warrants oh-so-careful watching, with our dismaying election in the balance, over the next few days.

Finding Kevin Annett…

Veterans Today; Tomorrow The World

After 23 years of biting the collective ear of the Canadian government and the three major church organizations like some rodeo bronc rider, recovering Reverend Kevin Annett still suffers from a total blackout of any recognition from the faithful establishment media. Originally, when in 1993 he not only blew the whistle but proved with the Government’s own records that nothing short of genocide had been going on for more than a century (and continues today under a different guise), in 141 “Indian Residential Schools,” (read gulags) a few gee-whiz articles headlined in papers like the Vancouver Sun. And then as suddenly any mention dropped off the news cycle, for reasons we all recognize. For the same reason that in Canada, churches, the Government and especially a thing called The Crown, are above reproach, like Caesar’s wife.

Kevin Annett became a pariah in his own country, fired and defrocked by his employer, the United Church of Canada, one of the perps in the crimes he had unearthed, ignored by the Government, which proceeded with a reluctant “apology,” although whilom hassled by the RCMP (which had served as truant officer in the so-called ‘schools’), blacklisted by his former employer and unable even to find legal help. In Canada, all lawyers are “officers of the Crown” and do what they’re told. Two Canadian lawyers have attempted to sue the Crown. One is chasing ambulances in Vermont, the other is flipping hamburgers in darkest Northern B.C.

Realizing the futility of seeking justice when those in control are the perps, Kevin Annett went international, lecturing in 18 universities from Berkeley to Innsbruck, writing six books, producing an award-winning feature-length film and creating an international common-law organization active in 26 countries known as The International Tribunal into The Crimes of Church and State. (ITCCS), the main thrust of which is to expose and bring to justice the often prominent traffickers of women and children, many at the highest legal and political levels in his home and native land.

Meanwhile, he has been applauded in the University of Cork, where he won a debate asserting that the Pope is not above legal reproach; he has been ejected from Merrie England, and he has performed a rite of exorcism in St. Peter’s Square, which was followed in 12 hours by a highly unusual tornado that devastated much of Rome and the Vatican. In 2015 he was nominated by a group of American academics for the Nobel Peace Prize, and in October he will address a prestigious Peace Conference in Prague. A prophet, apparently – or even a dedicated whistle-blower – is not without honor, save in his own country.

Veterans Today is a leading online publication, independent and self supporting that represents the interests of the Veterans community. Recently VTN carried in its daily headline list of international stories, for two successive days, four of Kevin Annett’s recent posts, including a video interview with Kevin by the New York radio hostess Colia Clark. As a contributor to VT Kevin is in pretty good company. With Senior Managing Editor Gordon Duff, some of VT’s outstanding regular contributors are former Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Craig Roberts, an outspoken critic of American foreign and domestic policy, Dr. Kevin Barrett, a regular VT columnist and Chris Hedges, everybody’s favorite dissident.

Tomorrow on September 18, Kevin’s online Radio Program “Radio Free Kanata” will feature a witness to a child Satanic ritual and trafficking in Canada, along with Co-host Ryan Gable, and the show will also be carried on the Veterans Truth Radio Network. Both can be heard online at 3:00 P.M. Pacific/6:00 P.M. EST, either at, or by dialing (716) 748-0150. It can also be heard by downloading “Veterans Truth Network Radio” and clicking on the indicated link.

Peter Dale Scott - The Sinister Politics Following 9/11

Another 9/11 Intrigue: Dick Cheney, John Yoo, and “Continuity in Government” (COG) Measures on 9/11

By Prof Peter Dale Scott

Global Research, September 14, 2016

Journal of 9/11 Studies

Theme: 9/11 & 'War on Terrorism', Intelligence

Dick Cheney, Vice-President of the United States of America

In 1993 I wrote a book, Deep Politics and the Death of JFK, in which I said at the outset I was not going to try to solve the mystery of JFK’s murder but to examine the politics of it.

I wish to argue here for similar research into the politics of 9/11. For the political consequences of 9/11 have been toxic, regardless of how the towers fell or who was responsible. The unusual process of their implementation deserves close study, a study which I believe will cast more light on 9/11 itself.

I hope in this paper to show that Dick Cheney responded to 9/11 by using devious means to install a small cabal of lawyers – most notoriously John Yoo – who proceeded conspiratorially in the next weeks to exclude their superiors, while secretly authorizing measures ranging from warrantless surveillance and detention to torture.

Some of these were measures which Cheney and Rumsfeld had previously been preparing for almost two decades, as central figures in the secret agency planning for so-called Continuity of Government (COG). It was revealed in the 1980s that these plans aimed at granting a president emergency powers, uncurbed by congressional restraints, to intervene abroad, and also to detain large numbers of those who might protest such actions.

On 9/11, the 9/11 Report confirms, COG was implemented. As we shall see, Cheney promptly ordered the three top figures in the Justice Department out of Washington to a designated COG site buried deep underground.

This allowed Cheney’s cabal to deal instead, starting that same afternoon, with John Yoo in the Justice Department command center. At that time John Yoo, a 34-year-old distinguished chiefly for his repeated defense of Cheney’s eccentric views on presidential authority, had only been in the government for two months.

As a consequence, since 9/11 we have seen warrantless surveillance, suspension of habeas corpus, and the militarization of homeland security, on an unprecedented scale that is not just illegal but an erasure of rights specified in the U.S. constitution.[1]

Furthermore, the secrecy and speed of the manner in which our rights were drastically subverted is itself an affront to the ideals of America as an open society: one in which major changes to our political fabric are only made through authorized channels, and after debate.

The Background: Continuity of Government Planning

The origin of many of these measures – both their content and their secret planning outside of channels – was the secret Continuity of Government (COG) planning that Rumsfeld and Cheney had been engaged in since 1982.

In the 1980s three secret COG provisions were roughly identified by Alfonso Chardy of the Miami News and Ross Gelbspan of the Boston Globe. According to Chardy in 1987, the plans envisaged suspension of the Constitution, turning control of the government over to the Federal Emergency Management Agency [FEMA], emergency appointment of military commanders to run state and local governments and declaration of martial law during a national crisis.”[2]

Gelbspan added that North was also working with FEMA officials on a secret contingency plan to surveil political dissenters and to arrange for the detention of hundreds of thousands of undocumented aliens in case of an unspecified national emergency.[3]

The detention planning was clearly aimed at protesters, many of them Hispanic, who objected to Reagan’s policies in Nicaragua and El Salvador. (Col. Oliver North, who coordinated the planning, was also at the center of a “three-year operation aimed at monitoring the activities of U.S.-based opponents of Reagan’s Central America policies.”)[4]

Between them, the two journalists thus pointed to the content of the surveillance, detention, and militarization measures which, after over a decade of further refinement, were finally implemented on 9/11.

They also indicated how secret, extra-constitutional, and unaccountable was the process of the COG planning. Chardy accurately referred to North’s network as “a virtual parallel government outside the traditional Cabinet departments and agencies almost from the day Reagan took office.”[5]

Four years later, in 1991, CNN revealed for the first time that North and FEMA were under a secret National Program Office (NPO) in charge of Continuity of Government (COG) planning, known in the Pentagon as “the Doomsday Project.” It called the NPO a “shadow government . . . about which you know nothing.”[6] And in 2004 two authors, James Mann and James Bamford, wrote that in the 1980s two central figures guiding North in the Doomsday planning, which Mann called “extralegal and extraconstitutional,” had been Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney.[7]

The new details from Bamford and Mann about this multi-billion program were invaluable. But unfortunately both men believed, because of a very misleading story in the New York Times, that under Clinton “officials decided to abandon the program as an outdated legacy of the cold war.”[8]

Both men were wrong: all that had been abandoned was the original and completely honorable purpose of COG planning under Truman and Eisenhower – to deal with the catastrophe of an atomic attack. Under Reagan the planning, from the outset, had shifted to dealing with any emergency.[9] Not only did the planning by Rumsfeld and Cheney continue under Clinton, it was augmented.[10]

How very true, then, was Mann’s observation that Cheney and Rumsfeld were, in a sense, a part of the permanent hidden national-security apparatus of the United States—inhabitants of a world in which Presidents come and go, but America keeps on fighting.[11]

This situation was particularly disturbing under Clinton, when Rumsfeld (and possibly Cheney) continued to plan for subordination of the constitution, even though at this time neither man was in the government.[12] Both men were now CEOs of large private corporations (as Rumsfeld had been since recruited in 1982 for the task).[13] And one of the planners told Andrew Cockburn that the Clinton administration had “no idea what was going on.”[14] (Such phenomena persuaded me to analyze 9/11 as a deep event, to be analyzed in the context of the American deep state.)[15]

Private corporation leaders had been brought into COG planning under Eisenhower, because recovery from a nuclear attack would have required a corporate as well as government response.[16] Ike could hardly have foreseen that under Reagan private people would begin to plan for the extralegal surveillance and detention of their fellow citizens, still less that these plans would finally be implemented by two of the central planners — Rumsfeld and Cheney — on September 11, 2001. The Implementation of COG Measures on 9/11

As the 9/11 Report confirms (pp. 38, 226), on 9/11 COG plans were indeed implemented, before the last plane had crashed in Pennsylvania. It was under the auspices of COG that Bush stayed out of Washington on that day, and other government leaders like Paul Wolfowitz were swiftly evacuated to COG’s Site R, inside a hollowed out mountain near Camp David.[17]

These emergency measures were soon followed by two White House Declarations of Emergency: Executive Order 13223 of September 14, 2001 (“Ordering the Ready Reserve of the Armed Forces to Active Duty”), and Executive Order 13224 of September 23, 2001 (“with respect to persons who commit, threaten to commit, or support terrorism”).[18]

There was much more to come.

Within hours of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, Dick Cheney in effect took command of the national security operations of the federal government. Quickly and instinctively, he began to act in response to two longstanding beliefs: that the great dangers facing the United States justified almost any response, whether or not legal; and that the presidency needed vastly to enhance its authority, which had been unjustifiably and dangerously weakened in the post-Vietnam, post-Watergate years.[19]

James Mann has argued that COG implementation was the “hidden backdrop” to Cheney’s actions on 9/11, when he “urged President Bush to stay out of Washington,” and later removed himself to more than one “’undisclosed location’”.[20]

According to Jane Mayer, Cheney’s chief aide that day in revamping government was his long-time legal assistant David Addington (a veteran with Cheney of COG planning). All sources follow the Washington Post in asserting that Addington initially walked away when the order was given to vacate the White House, then was summoned back by Cheney.[21] Yet Mayer writes that “Within minutes of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Addington began to assert himself as the war on terror’s indispensable man.”[22]

How Cheney’s Lawyers Subordinated US Law

According to Barton Gellman in the Washington Post, before the day ended, Cheney’s lawyer [Addington] joined forces with Timothy E. Flanigan, the deputy White House counsel, linked by secure video from the Situation Room. Flanigan patched in John C. Yoo at the Justice Department’s fourth-floor command center. White House counsel Alberto R. Gonzales joined later.

Thus formed the core legal team that Cheney oversaw, directly and indirectly, after the terrorist attacks.[23]

In addition, Flanigan was in touch by about 10:30 AM with the fifth member of the War Council, William Haynes, Pentagon general counsel.[24] This War Council “explicitly excluded the State Department’s general counsel and other military and Justice Department lawyers who had historically been included in reviewing legal structures for combating terrorism.”[25]

In the next months this five-man team, who called themselves “the War Council,” issued secret directives, sometimes without notifying their nominal superiors, that continued to implement COG plans and up-end established constitutional restraints on executive power.

One of the first instances was to authorize the use of military force domestically, something that Congress, when passing the Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) on September 14, had refused to do. Before passage, Republican Senate Minority leader Trent Lott delivered to his Democrat counterpart, Tom Daschle, a special request from White House Counsel Alberto Gonzalez. This was that the proposed language defining the area for military action be expanded, by adding the words “in the United States.” Daschle refused to give the president the power to round up US citizens in this country, and the AUMF passed unamended.[26]

On the lawbooks, that is. However, within a week, the Justice Department delivered a secret answer [submitted on September 21 by John Yoo] that would shock Daschle when he found out about it [three years later]. The memo argued that in times of national emergency, which had been declared since September 11, “If the president decided the threat justified deploying the military inside the country, the federal government could legally “raid or attack dwellings where terrorists were thought to be, despite risks that third parties could be killed ….” …. In this and related memos, the Justice Department said that the executive branch could ignore both Fourth Amendment protections against illegitimate searches and, without court warrants, specific laws passed by Congress prohibiting wiretaps and other surreptitious surveillance.[27]

So what Cheney, Gonzalez, and Flanigan had failed to obtain from Congress, they got instead from their own small group.[28]

The War Council’s secret rulings were often kept hidden from other administration lawyers, as well as Congress. In October, for example, John Yoo, the young deputy at the Office of Legal Counsel in the Justice Department, drafted a memo, quickly approved by Cheney and Addington, that ruled that the NSA could surveil whomever it wished without an order from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC).[29]

This memo granted the NSA a power which Michael Hayden had requested and already exercised. Yet many other administration lawyers were not consulted, including the top lawyer for Condoleezza Rice’s National Security Council, John Bellinger III. In fact, Bellinger was not told about the Terrorist Surveillance Program at all. This was strange, because unlike Addington, who had no line authority over national security matters, Bellinger was the ranking lawyer in the White House on intelligence affairs, with statutory purview over the subject…. Richard Shiffrin was also not informed about the domestic spying program, which was remarkable, because Shiffrin was the Pentagon lawyer in charge of supervising the legality of the NSA’s programs…. Ashcroft’s deputy attorney general, Larry Thompson, the second-ranking lawyer in the Department of Justice, was excluded… too…. This was phenomenal, given that he was John Yoo’s boss.[30]

This cabal-like behavior by Cheney and the War Council – the team that would subsequently produce the notorious torture memos — was repeated on other matters. In the decision to use military commissions to try the Guantanamo detainees, for example, those left out of the loop included Defense Secretary Powell, National Security Adviser Rice, Rice’s lawyer John Bellinger III, and Michael Chertoff, head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division.

Attorney General Ashcroft had only learned of the military commission plan two days earlier, when he discovered to his outrage that John Yoo, his subordinate, had vouched for a confidential legal memorandum cutting the Justice Department and U.S. Courts out of the picture.[31]

It would be wrong to think that all of the post-9/11 changes can be attributed to the legal team of the War Council. According to Professor Shirley Anne Warshaw, in this period, Cheney jumped into action in his bunker beneath the East Wing to ensure continuity in government. He immediately began to create his shadow government by ordering one hundred mid-level executive officials to move to specially designated underground bunkers and stay there twenty-four hours a day. They would not be rotated out, he informed them, for ninety days.[32]

The Washington Post revealed this “shadow government” under Cheney in March 2002, and described it as still on-going.[33]

What this parallel government did for three or more months is not known. But I have noted elsewhere a number of other new COG measures, such as permanent detention centers and the militarization of homeland security, that date back to this post-9/11 period.[34]

How Cheney and Addington Used COG to Empower Yoo

Given the speed and determination with which the War Council acted to rewrite U.S laws and procedures, one needs to look more closely at circumstances under which they sprang into action on the afternoon of 9/11. According to all mainstream accounts, the five members of the War Council were thrown together that day by accident. Addington spoke to Flanigan, the deputy White House counsel, because “Flanigan’s boss, Alberto Gonzalez, was stranded in Norfolk.”[35]

On 9/11 Findley (to quote the mainstream account by Barton Gellman), “found a young attorney named John C. Yoo.”[36] But this was not by accident. Yoo, the deputy assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel with two months of government experience, was presiding at the Justice command center. This was because attorney general Ashcroft and those directly under him (his deputy Larry Thompson, and his assistant David Ayres) had been ordered by the PEOC under COG rules to go elsewhere. [37]

(The Ashcroft team were not Cheney’s only targets on 9/11. On that day Cheney also evacuated to Site R the second and third in line to succeed to the presidency, House Speaker Dennis Hastert and Senate President Pro Tem Robert Byrd.[38] This was consistent with the COG priority of ensuring that the US Government was not decapitated. And in the weeks after 9/11, when Site R became so busy under Cheney that substantial upgrades to its equipment had to be ordered by Andrew Card in the White House, someone from the line of succession was always there. However, never once again was that person either Hastert or Byrd.[39] This suggests that Hastert and Byrd may have also been banished to Site R on 9/11, and excluded from Site R thereafter, for political reasons.)

Cheney had compelling ideological reasons on 9/11 to decapitate the Justice Department on that day and leave Yoo in command. Both men shared the eccentric legal belief, repudiated by most Bush administration lawyers, that a president in times of emergency had almost unrestricted powers. Back in 1980 Cheney had advised incoming presidential chief of staff James Baker that it was important to get rid of the War Powers Act and restore the president’s independent rights.[40] In his Iran-Contra Minority Report of 1987, Cheney declared his belief, drafted for him by Addington, that “the Chief Executive will on occasion feel duty bound to assert monarchical notions of prerogative that will permit him to exceed the laws.”[41] Yoo was one of the few academics to share that opinion: “For years, [Yoo] had written articles for law reviews… arguing that in a time of war, the executive had a sweeping claim to act independently from the other branches of government.”[42]

As in the COG planning of previous decades, the implementation of new measures under Cheney proceeded with what Barton Gellman called near hermetic secrecy. Not only the conduct of policy but even the law itself, as Yoo and Addington and Flanigan rewrote it, was classified. The new legal framework was meant to be invisible, unreviewable – its very existence unknown by legislative or judicial actors who might fight back.[43]

Andrew Bacevich, reviewing The Dark Side for the Washington Post, characterized the behavior of the War Council as that of a small, secretive “conspiracy… made up chiefly of lawyers contemptuous of the Constitution and the rule of law.”[44] I agree that the War Council’s plots to evade existing laws constituted conspiratorial behavior; and would argue further that Cheney’s role in creating the War Council on 9/11, by exiling the three top Justice officials who might have thwarted them, was also conspiratorial.[45]

But the key to the emergence of the ideological War Council cabal may go back to Cheney’s position as chief of the Bush transition team which selected John Yoo to be Office of Legal Counsel deputy assistant attorney general. Cheney was also responsible for locating Findley as a deputy legal counsel in the White House (a considerable demotion from his position a decade earlier as assistant attorney general for the OLC). According to Bernard Weiner, Cheney began meddling with the all-important White House Office of Legal Counsel …. Cheney made sure Bush’s lightweight consiglieri Alberto Gonzales didn’t get the OLC post; instead, Cheney eased in a trusted aide, Tim Flanigan. With Flanigan in the White House under the influence of Cheney and David Addington, …. there was no real countervailing power in the Administration’s legal departments to stop the reckless policies on torture, violation of habeas corpus, extraordinary rendition and so on.[46]

Other authors have raised questions about the absence from Washington, at the time of the 9/11 attacks, of such leaders as Defense Secretary Powell (in Peru), Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Henry Shelton (airborne en route to Europe), Attorney General Ashcroft (en route to Milwaukee), presidential counsel Alberto Gonzalez (in Norfolk, Va.), and others.[47]

I am not in this article suggesting that all these absences were pre-planned as part of a larger 9/11 conspiracy.[48] In contrast, the order from the PEOC after the attacks to exile Ashcroft, Thompson, and Ayres to a COG website – thus putting Yoo in a command position – falls into a quite different category. If as I believe Cheney made this order with Yoo in mind, it would indicate only that Cheney’s behavior was in response to a planned terrorist attack, not as part of that attack plan itself.[49]

But I believe we should see all the disparate plotting of 9/11 in the context of an older plot – to modify the U.S. constitution with procedures dating back to COG planning in the 1980s. This “emergency planning” has in fact created a real and on-going emergency, one under which we still live.

Today the extra-legal practices of warrantless detention and surveillance, inaugurated by Cheney and Yoo, are still used to crush protest, most dramatically in the case of the incipient Occupy movement. But this emergency does more than threaten to extinguish the culture of democratic protest which sixty years ago gained significant victories against racial segregation and the Vietnam War. It has radically impaired such fundamental American rights as habeas corpus and the Fourth Amendment guarding against unreasonable searches and seizures.

It is time, I suggest, to end the “war on terror”. As a first step, we should launch a campaign to terminate the State of Emergency instituted by Bush three days after 9/11, and since renewed annually – most recently by Obama on August 30, 2016.[50]

The anti-war movement in the 1970s empowered Senator Charles Mathias, [and] Senator Frank Church… to establish a Senate special committee to study the implications of terminating the 1950 proclamation of national emergency [for Korea!] that was being used to prosecute the Vietnam war.[51]

Their initial success in this limited endeavor led, as some of us can remember, to the whole host of post-Watergate reforms that were explicitly and successfully targeted by Vice-President Dick Cheney – the same reforms that need to be restored and enhanced today.

This merely confirmed six years of NPO practice from the time of its establishment by another Reagan Executive Order in September 1982.

On his belated return to Washington, he was told by Rice in the PEOC to join his deputy, Larry Thompson, and his assistant, David Ayres, who had already been sent out of Washington to a classified COG site. Because of traffic conditions, Ashcroft was ultimately redirected that afternoon to the FBI Crisis Management Center. See John Ashcroft, Never Again: Securing America and Restoring Justice (New York: Center Street, 2006). Yoo’s eventual boss at the OLC, Jay Bybee, had not yet been appointed. Bybee’s position, as assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel, required Congressional approval. His name had been submitted to Congress on September 4, 2011, one week before 9/11. [45] When the warrantless Terrorist Surveillance Program (TSP) came up for renewal in March 2004, Ashcroft, supported by his new deputy James Comey and his new OLC Chief Jack Goldsmith, refused to approve it. This led to a notorious confrontation in Ashcroft’s hospital bedroom, where Gonzalez and Andrew Card arrived from the White House with a renewal order for Ashcroft to sign. Ashcroft, who was under intensive care after surgery for gallstone pancreatitis, “lifted his head off the pillows and delivered a strong denunciation of the TSP’s legal framework”. His temporary replacement, deputy attorney general Comey, refused to sign. In the room Ashcroft and Comey were supported by Goldsmith and FBI Director Robert Mueller, both of whom Comey had summoned urgently to join him at the hospital after “a frantic call from Ashcroft’s wife” (Mayer, The Dark Side, 289-91; cf. Gellman, Angler, 302-05).

[48] Some have used these absences to suggest that the “state” itself planned 9/11, a simplistic notion I have consistently opposed.

[49] I believe that Cheney and Addington did indeed have a pre-planned agenda, dating from before 9/11, for response to the next terrorist attack; and that these plans, as I have suggested elsewhere, grew out of their years of secret planning for COG. But to say this does not imply that Cheney and Addington were involved in the attack itself. Some researchers believe that the fourth hijacked plane which crashed in Pennsylvania may have crashed because it had been shot down on Cheney’s orders, a gruesome possibility which would however indicate that Cheney on that day was dealing with a dangerous enemy not under his control. See e.g. Mark H. Gaffney, Black 9/11: Money, Motive and Technology (Walterville, OR: Trine Day, 2012), 175-202.

Gary Kohls - Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars

Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars - The Lawful Path towards a "slavery that is essential to maintain some measure of social order, peace, and tranquillity (sic) for the ruling upper class

Gary Kohls

This posting concerns a 1979 social engineering conspiracy document about a program begun in 1954 to control society through various social engineering techniques and control of the currency (ideas from the Rothchild banking family). It was discovered in 1986.

The document can be found in its entirety at

Just to stimulate one's appetite to learn more, I have excerpted an important quote from the document. Gary

"All science is merely a means to an end. The means is knowledge. The end is control. Beyond this remains only one issue: Who will be the beneficiary?

"In 1954 this was the issue of primary concern. Although the so-called "moral issues" were raised, in view of the law of natural selection it was agreed that a nation or world of people who will not use their intelligence are no better than animals who do not have intelligence. Such people are beasts of burden and steaks on the table by choice and consent.

. "Consequently, in the interest of future world order, peace, and tranquillity (sic), it was decided to privately wage a quiet war against the American public with an ultimate objective of permanently shifting the natural and social energy (wealth) of the undisciplined and irresponsible many into the hands of the self-disciplined, responsible, and worthy few.

"In order to implement this objective, it was necessary to create, secure, and apply new weapons which, as it turned out, were a class of weapons so subtle and sophisticated in their principle of operation and public appearance as to earn for themselves the name "silent weapons."

"In conclusion, the objective of economic research, as conducted by the magnates of capital (banking) and the industries of commodities (goods) and services, is the establishment of an economy which is totally predictable and manipulatable.

"In order to achieve a totally predictable economy, the low-class elements of society must be brought under total control, i.e., must be housebroken, trained, and assigned a yoke and long-term social duties from a very early age, before they have an opportunity to question the propriety of the matter. In order to achieve such conformity, the lower-class family unit must be disintegrated by a process of increasing preoccupation of the parents and the establishment of government-operated day-care centers for the occupationally orphaned children.

"The quality of education given to the lower class must be of the poorest sort, so that the moat of ignorance isolating the inferior class from the superior class is and remains incomprehensible to the inferior class. With such an initial handicap, even bright lower class individuals have little if any hope of extricating themselves from their assigned lot in life. This form of slavery is essential to maintain some measure of social order, peace, and tranquillity (sic) for the ruling upper class."

Eric Margolis - Truth and Consequences of 9/11

Truth About 9/11
By Eric Margolis

“America’s strategic and economic interests in the Mideast and Muslim world are being threatened by the agony in Palestine, which inevitably invites terrorist attacks against US citizens and property.”

- Eric Margolis, Sun Media, Sept 2, 2001
(nine days before the Sept 11 attacks against New York and Washington DC.)

September 11, 2016 "Information Clearing House" - As Americans enter the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on their nation, they still have not understood the true cause of these dreadful attacks.

Who can blame them? Our politicians and media have totally obscured the truth behind these and subsequent attacks that we call ‘terrorism.’ While we mourn 9/11, US B-52 heavy bombers are raining bombs on what’s left of Afghanistan in a futile attempt to crush tribal forces (aka Taliban) fighting western occupation.

We did the same thing in Laos in the 1980’s, as President Barack Obama properly noted during his visit there last week. Laos has never recovered and Afghanistan won’t either.

Since 2015, the US has dropped at least 32,000 – 1,000-2,000 lb. bombs on Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan and Afghanistan – all Muslim nations. US bomb inventories are running critically low as arms makers work overtime.

9/11 was a revenge attack conducted by mostly Saudi nationals who claimed they wanted to punish the United States for supporting Israeli oppression of Palestine, and for what they claimed was the US ‘occupation’ of Saudi Arabia.

That’s as much as we really know. We have never gotten the full story about 9/11. The best we can do is ask “qui bono,” who really benefitted from the attacks?

The 9/11 narrative was immediately twisted by President George Bush into a spurious claim that America had been attacked by Muslims because of its ‘freedoms’ and her ‘way of life.’ This deceit opened the Pandora’s box from which issued the rising wave of Islamophobia and Crusading fever sweeping over the US and Europe.

America was attacked for what it had been doing all over the Muslim world, not for what it was. Most Americans don’t know that the first CIA ‘regime change’ in the Mideast occurred in Syria, way back in 1948. We’re still at it today.

Ever since, the US, Britain and France – the imperial three musketeers – have been breaking and making regimes across the Mideast and Africa, and installing vicious dictators to do our bidding, earning enemies from West Africa to Tajikistan.

Hillary Clinton said this week that if elected president she would advance ‘American exceptionalism’ and assure the new world order. These are code terms for imperialism and hegemony. If Clinton wins, look forward to foreign and military policy directed by Goldman Sachs and the neoconservatives. Donald Trump vows a major increase military spending at a time when America’s infrastructure is rusting or collapsing and its debt soaring. Both Trump and Clinton warn of growing security threats to America from ISIS and North Korea. In reality, the greatest internal threat is the type of Saturday night gang shoot-outs in Chicago that have killed 500 people so far this year.

ISIS is a military pipsqueak – a bunch of 20-something hooligans. North Korea only wants to be left alone to its misery. Washington, Paris, and London need the ISIS bogeyman today, just as they needed al-Qaida and the Soviet Union before, to justify budget-busting new arms spending and keeping the population whipped up with bogus war fever.

Internationally, the greatest threat to America’s security is, of course, nuclear armed Russia which has enough intercontinental and sea-launched missiles to wipe the United States off the map. Accordingly, Washington’s most important foreign and national security priority is maintaining calm, well-mannered relations with Russia and its leadership.

Instead, we have Hillary Clinton and her frantic war party neocons trying to provoke Russia at every turn and giving Moscow the impression that she will start a war with Russia. It was precisely such war talk and sabre rattling that in 1983 during the Able Archer crisis brought the US and USSR to within minutes of a full-scale nuclear war.

For all Trump’s bluster and Islamophobia, he is absolutely right about seeking good relations with Moscow. The schoolyard demonization of Russian President Vladimir Putin by the Clinton camp and its tame US media is childish, shameful and unworthy of a great power.

A plan is unfolding that was set in motion a very long time ago, internationally, interrupted by unforeseen actions such as the Russian, Iranian, and Lebanon Hesbula fighting and dying in Syria to stop the planned destruction of 8 countries. These countries know that if this is not stopped, now, their destruction will be next. But things have not been going as planned, so my fear is, knowing full well that this tumour is Psychopathic, we may be in for an event that will make 9/11 look like a picnic. Think about it for just a moment. No matter the obstacle, these sick people have destroyed several sovereign countries, murdered millions, displaced millions, and continue to do so at this minute with no time spent in the penalty box. Worse case scenario is that this leads the world to a nuclear war. Where to start? Jeeesh! I perceive that what is now posed as patriotism and fitness in our “world’s greatest democracy”, “the greatest country on earth or anywhere else”, has now entered an alarming, frightening, and, when you think about it, highly insulting new phase. The insiders, the “leaders”, what would be called in Brazil “o estabelecimento” (the establishment) are losing their grip going forward and are fast approaching the wounded lion stage, in which they will go totally berserk (more than now) and begin to lash out in every conceivable direction in a frantic and lethal attempt to recover their accustomed place.

Not only are people – true and mounting majorities by now – not believing them about JFK and 9/11. But even the authorship of the recent dribble of orchestrated so-called “terrorist events” in the U.S. and overseas, meant to scurry the public again back under the protection of the neocon establishment’s ample all-embracing skirts, consenting most reluctantly and tearfully yet again as always to mindlessly support more follow-on Middle Eastern aggressive wars and suffer “national security” sacrifices of their remaining, dwindling freedoms, is widely questioned. And even the rash of these shocks is suddenly halted probably so as not to favor Trump’s perceived argument.

And now, once again – and this time the whole, broad electorate – seems suddenly precariously near the brink of jettisoning the establishment’s deceitfully rammed-forward lone remaining war-hawk candidate, the clearly money-laundering, ever-lying anointed president-in-waiting (just as happened in the long run of Republican primaries) in favor of the preposterously-unthinkable, incredible (in both senses) now non-Hillary candidate. And this widespread unthinkable rejectionist behavior is on the verge of re-occurring more broadly this time just because the electorate is in a mood determined to not give in to the god-awful establishment any more of anything it might desire. A good slogan? Support the lesser weevil.

The establishment, and it alone, it seems, was flabbergasted by a lavishly paid-off football player’s principled repeated refusal to stand for the National Anthem. (What? Unthinkable! Principle over knee-jerk token patriotism? Ahem – unthinkable!) And the establishment’s officials go right down the line on that stance. (Of course, the president is more lenient, but then, he’s black, too – as well as almost done, anyway).

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, previously coddled in the establishment media as kind of a pet, turns out to be unexpectedly (and dangerously) drawing more in polls away from establishment darling Clinton, badly tarnished, but only in the broader public’s eyes, than from the anathema Trump. “So, knock him out of there!” becomes their cry. “Ask him what he thinks about ‘a leppo!’” Gary: “A leppo? Say what?”

OK, how many of you know what they meant by “a leppo”? I didn’t, for sure. 99+% of Americans, for a certainty, wouldn’t have. I did know that Aleppo was a city in Syria. I didn’t equate it with ISIS’s Syrian headquarters. Neither did Gary Johnson. Never thought of it. And neither did you, I’m all but certain; nor did 99+% of our fellow Americans.

And that isn’t even what they meant in their too-cleverly orchestrated elimination round played out on Morning Joe, where they even went so far as to suggest that this clueless, now “hopeless” Libertarian candidate be tagged hence with the inane, disqualifying moniker, “Aleppo Gary”, because he wasn’t able to guess that what they meant was, “What do you think of the vast flood of refugees pouring out of Syria?” (Well, I ask you, what do you think of the vast, tragic flood of refugees pouring out of Syria, almost wholly due to the truly boneheaded, stubborn insistence by the U.S. neocon establishment – yet again (they are incapable of learning) – that one single, solitary man be rooted out of his job even while supported by the majority - so that his country can be fragmented to suit the insane Israelis, who are incapable of ever thinking about anyone but the Israelis and their sad, clueless puppet, America? “Aleppo Gary,” indeed!

And Trump – he gave some different (and bold) answers in last night’s nationally-televised “Commander-in-Chief Forum”. He exposed himself in public, for instance, by not worshipping or groveling at the feet of the generals (who have, along with their civilian commanders-in-chief and secretaries of state, etc.), made an absolute bloody hash of everything having to do with the Middle East and most other places for 14 years and running. And also by not railing against “despotic mad-man” Vladimir Putin, who everyone is expected to revile and thoroughly bad-mouth because it’s hard-baked into the script, particularly for posting Russian troops (get this) inside, but near his jumbo country’s borders. (Our military or commanders would never do such a thing, right?)

It all goes to make him (Trump) far more dangerous than a certain transparent unindicted, but otherwise just peachy fine, criminal, and that’s for sure! And so, that puts him out of the running, they all tell us in their shrillest unison today. And why don’t all the Republicans – and not just the self-exposed puppets among them – just go right along in newly-fashionable goose-step and support her, too? they brazenly ask the party that rejected them (the establishment and its then-darling) once.

Meanwhile, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts tells us this very day that Americans (the run of the mill – see the above-posted article) are by and large roundly chucking the establishment, telling them to stick it in the door, and actually thinking and judging and choosing for themselves! It’s about time! It seems there is a new awareness, in fact, that our Sinai is only giving us all pain in the sinus.

But, look out! You can bet that, somehow or other, the establishment will have not our backs, but our heads, and soon! Especially if this circus gets out of hand! Brace yourself, because they’re even more scared to death than you, and vengeance from on high is surely coming this way – as sure as winter, rain or shine. And some sort of nuclear is probably next.

9/11: Silence of American Muslim "Leaders" Violates Islam's Tenets

by Enver Masud

On this, the 15th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, 3000 plus military and intelligence personnel, pilots, engineers, architects, and other professionals have spoken out against the official account of 9/11.

The evidence against the official account of 9/11 is overwhelming.

America's wars, justified by 9/11, have killed more than one million Muslims; thousands of Americans. Many more have been maimed, wounded, and made homeless. About 20 veterans commit suicides daily. These wars are a major contributor to our $19 trillion debt.

Polls show America, along with Israel, is considered the biggest threat to world peace.

While Muslims are the biggest victims of 9/11, American Muslim "leaders" have not only failed to speak out, they have prevented Muslims who speak out from being heard by their members. They have failed to examine the evidence, and/or enter into dialogue with those who have and are speaking out.

The vice-president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA -- largest Muslim organization in North America) has, without examination, accepted the official account of 9/11.

ISNA's position is supported by officials of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) -- organizations often cited by mainstream news media.

By failing to expose the false account of 9/11, Muslim leaders are violating basic tenets of Islam.

The internationally recognized Muslim scholar, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, has written that "putting a curb on dissent or criticism, or upbraiding dissenters, is not the Islamic way. The method of Islam is to listen to opposite viewpoints and then attempt, by well reasoned argument, to remove the grounds for dissent."

"Dissent," a quote [mis]attributed to historian Howard Zinn "is the highest form of patriotism".

Can you imagine your bank asking all of its account-holders to determine matters of bank policy and direction democratically, by popular vote? Or, Exxon or BP to permit the general public, the theoretical masters of the governments supposedly charged with regulating them, to democratically determine their practices, acquisitions, expenditures, and membership of their boards for everyday operations? I didn’t think so.

And exactly au contraire to such a model, the top leadership of the New World Order, its existence now – amazing as it may seem – for the first time almost universally believed in, is nonchalantly characterized these days as being completely bonkers, given the apparent suicidal bent of its apoplexy-inducing, pan-genocidal seeming practices and gambits, as well as most likely totally psychopathic (i.e., completely devoid of human empathy), as well as, for sure, compulsively homicidal. So, what gives? What can we point to in the imagined past of the imagined monumental swells that direct our world down such a tortuous, dark and narrow path as has become a daily terror, driving us mere mortals at least figuratively back into fetal position in the deepest depths of our own familiar little beddy-bys? What could it be that they drink or inhale that gives them the stomach to command and oversee such gut-churning, earth-mogrifying mad lurches straight into their own and our quite obvious oblivion? To rephrase slightly: What in the hell is going on?

Well, you’ve heard of it. It’s called corporatism, an aggressively fatal disease dyed in the wool of those blokes and just maybe one or two thus-imbued wench heiresses, and applied thereby unsparingly, universally, maximally.

And its absolute, invariant iron tenets, comprising its enforced demands, both of all individuals everywhere and at the level of protesting but conforming nations’ every obeisance, their combined tribute rendered upward to the topmost echelon of economic and cultural control, bleeding the most reluctant and least-able supplicants white and rendering all dependent on the emerging world state we expected we might see arise generations hence. Globalism on drunken opiate times twelve. And with all workers rendered mere leeches, as not mere mechanization but, way beyond that, digitation replaces all jobs, being cast off, poisoned, “humanely” starved of life: making way for the uber-élite’s utopia.

The top dogs’ means? War (playing the desired ouster of one solitary man in Syria and the support of an illegitimate overthrow regime in Ukraine so as to seriously bandy a threatened rain of nukes on Russia; the same over islets and platforms in the Sea of China at its adjacent namesake’s world realm; crudest mutilation of Libya to create an example, over its daring to emit its own currency. Add on pathetic, shocking, inevitable waves of refugees from the pilloried Middle East descending on Europe, to harden countries there and turn them toward war, as well as apparent false-flag attacks. Then there’s signal fiscal bleeding from extreme forced austerity, to break to compliance nations and unfortunate bank account-holders in Greece and, reportedly, Austria. Even induced “natural” forces (evidently, with Fukushima, to snap Japan into precise conformity; induced super-volcanic eruptions to warn the feisty tiny nation of Iceland and, by example, others; very likely-induced severe drought, crippling and bringing to heel the resistant sub-nation of California; and possibly induced earthquakes in the rebellious East of the U.S., where that’s never happened. Add whatever might be coming soon to Britain as a result of Brexit. Temper with a precipitate snuffing out of personal rights and bothersome ankle-biting expression by Truthers, etc., ever-present surveillance across the western world, continually-widening inequality everywhere. And add in their promise to organically marry man and machine into one in the near future (possibly fitted to kick out designer offspring), along with bland homogenization of food supplies, killing us slowly and supplanting worldwide small agriculture and so very much else that’s good for everyone.

But then again, it is argued, who is letting them do it? Think about it. While they’re steadily tightening their grip, according to a plan some say is centuries old, we are the ones who continually try, resolutely, stubbornly forging ahead, to live on, though hampered, as before. According to my latest cyber sweetie, Nozomi Hayase, we, the billions, are the ones who hold the real power. “When we stop playing along with this virtual fantasy of grandeur, their world dissolves,” she reminds or informs us in a current article, adding, “Psychopaths do not possess the creativity that we [whole humans] have.” (See Nozomi Hayase, "Pathology Incorporated, The Facade..." ).

So, who are these monsters that direct and inflict all this misery and suffering stint or remorse on the entire globe? Are they America’s real underclass, under the White House or in spacious, long tunnel-connected city bunker bases deep under the East Coast and quite possibly beyond, as rumored? The American “deep-state” shadow government manipulating Wall Street, the military, and everything?

I say no; they are the high bosses, the overlords before which even these perhaps in ignorance as to exactly who, tremble and beseech for trillion-dollar table scraps. Then, are they the Zionist high Sanhedrin on the Temple Mount in the wickedest corner of the Middle East? No. They, like America and its new dependencies in Europe, are franchised underlings.

I believe the world’s “unitary executive”, richly served by fallible and mortal, though perhaps vast information services, may well meet regularly around a fairly ordinary-looking business conference table on some level either inside or less-conspicuously nearby the massive high-rise that is shaped (probably not by coincidence) exactly like a gigantic boot, loosely known as the “Tower of Basel”, the longtime home of the Bank for International Settlements, the unified central bankers of the world’s own central bank, in Basel, Switzerland. And the trustees of that proto-Nazi founded bank likely predominate among the trustees of the current world. And their subordinate specialized executive organs almost certainly include the Bilderberg group, the CFR in the U.S., etc. Restating what I’ve said before, that’s my best guess as to who is choreographing and inflicting nearly all the pain.

So, strap on your pop-gun, if that’s what you’ve got to offer. Because the Globalist vs. Nationalist and Individualist World War, coercion vs. resistance is on.
